If you return an item and choose a store credit (gift card), and you used a buy now, pay later service like AfterPay or ShopPay (Affirm), you'll still need to continue paying any remaining instalments as scheduled.

The value of your return will be issued as a gift card, but your payment agreement with the provider stays the same to pay off the value issued on the gift card.
